Renewable Diesel segment revenues increased $620 million in the second quarter, driven by higher sales prices and a 91 thousand gallons-per-day increase in sales volume. Six-month sales volume declined 44 thousand gallons per day because of planned turnaround activity at the Martinez Renewables JV in the first quarter. The segment’s margin improved substantially as regulatory credit values increased. Planned downtime at the Martinez Renewables JV reduced utilization and partially offset the improvement in the first half.
