Merck and Gilead Sciences are discontinuing the Phase 3 KEYNOTE-D46/EVOKE-03 study of Trodelvy combined with Keytruda versus Keytruda monotherapy in previously untreated metastatic non-small-cell lung cancer with PD-L1 tumor proportion scores of at least 50%. The decision followed an external Data Monitoring Committee review of the prespecified final progression-free-survival analysis and an interim overall-survival analysis. The combination had no new safety signals, and Merck stated that ongoing Company studies were unchanged.
