Microsoft plans to invest more than $10 billion in capital and operating expenses across the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait through 2030. The program will expand cloud and AI infrastructure and strengthen digital resilience in the Gulf. More than $400 million is allocated to subsea and terrestrial connectivity, while Microsoft aims to provide AI skills training to more than 4.2 million people. The investment also includes partnerships with national AI companies such as G42 and expanded cybersecurity and responsible-AI initiatives.
