The global trade landscape is shifting rapidly, including evolving tariffs, import/export regulations, rare-earth-mineral restrictions, trade barriers and trade disputes. A February 20, 2026 U.S. Supreme Court ruling invalidated tariffs imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). After U.S. Customs and Border Protection launched an IEEPA tariff-refund system on April 20, 2026, Motorola Solutions recognized a probable recovery of $60 million in refunds during the quarter ended July 4, 2026. The company continues to manage exposure to global tariffs and import/export regulations through its global supplier network, inventory management and mitigation actions.
