LMR Product Modernization

Motorola Solutions, Inc. · 2026-08-05 · Importance 34 · Surprise 42 · In source text

Public safety LMR demand exceeded expectations, with growth driven by APX NEXT devices and the new D-Series infrastructure platform. Management said D-Series is the first infrastructure upgrade in approximately 12 years and cited customer orders including U.S. federal, Southeast state and local, and St. Louis County deployments. D-Series deployments are expected to contribute to the second-half ramp, with UHF beginning to ship in Q4 and customers adding five- and ten-year Software and Services wrappers. APX NEXT is gaining adoption through premium device sales and subscriptions, and the new APX NEXT XN expands the platform into the fire market with NFPA 1930 certification.
