Match Group, Inc. · 2026-08-04 · Importance 81 · Surprise 76 · In source text

Match Group expects alternative payment optimizations to generate approximately $130 million of savings in 2026, about $20 million above its initial expectation. Apple-related economics remain subject to the Epic versus Apple litigation, with effectively zero-percent commissions on alternative payments in certain cases until the court proceedings conclude. Google’s global fee structure, issued in March, is already effective in parts of Europe, will take effect in the U.S. on March 1, and will roll out to other geographies through 2026 and 2027. Match estimates the net benefit from Google’s structure will be only about $5 million in 2027 after payment-processing costs.
