Nasdaq Verafin partnered with D-Wave Quantum to explore quantum-hybrid computing applications for financial-crime detection. The collaboration will initially use a proof-of-concept project to assess whether D-Wave’s quantum-annealing systems can identify complex patterns missed by conventional methods. Target applications include anti-money-laundering, fraud detection, scam prevention, and anomalous behavioral-signal analysis.
