Spotify is licensing Ringer shows to Netflix, expanding Netflix’s podcast and video-content distribution relationships. The Ringer’s Sean Fennessey criticized the partnership because his podcast covers films that may appear on Netflix. Fennessey said the licensing decision was not his own despite his leadership role at The Ringer.
