Under the four-year, $18 billion share repurchase program approved in June 2022, NIKE repurchased 124.4 million shares at a cost of approximately $12.1 billion as of May 31, 2026, and purchased 1.8 million shares for $122.4 million in fiscal 2026. In June 2026 the Board reapproved the program to continue without a fixed expiration date and without increasing the aggregate authorized amount. The company paused repurchases during the first quarter of fiscal 2026 and repurchases were resumed later in the fiscal year, with no shares repurchased during the quarter ended May 31, 2026. NIKE may resume repurchases depending on market conditions, operating cash flows and liquidity needs and expects any future repurchases to be funded from operating cash flows.
