Northrop Grumman and Boeing demonstrated a command-and-control link enabling P-8A Poseidon crews to task MQ-4C Triton surveillance drones during missions. The test used the Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI), allowing Triton to autonomously plan missions, collect intelligence, and return processed data to the P-8A. The capability is intended to improve interoperability and response times for the U.S. Navy and allied forces.
