Northrop Grumman opened a 300,000-square-foot engineering facility in Melbourne, Florida. The facility accommodates more than 1,200 engineers and includes 17 secure laboratories. The expansion is focused on next-generation aircraft development, including sixth-generation airpower programs. The site increases the company’s engineering and development capacity in its Aeronautics Systems business.
