Lightning repurchased $1.495 billion, or 99.670%, of its 7.250% senior secured notes in April 2026 for an aggregate purchase price of $1.6 billion plus accrued interest. The remaining Lightning 2032 Notes were redeemed on May 14, 2026 at a redemption price of 101.375% plus accrued interest. NRG recorded a loss on debt extinguishment in connection with the tender offer and redemption. After the refinancing, the Lightning Term Loan had $1.719 billion outstanding at June 30, 2026, while the Lightning Revolving Facility had no borrowings outstanding.
