Business electricity sales increased 1% year over year to 47,510 GWh, driven by East sales growth of 1% and West/Other growth of 6%, while Texas was broadly flat. Business natural gas sales increased 10% to 996,521 MDth, led by a 10% increase in the East to 892,225 MDth; home natural gas sales declined 7% to 71,209 MDth. Texas home electricity sales declined 10% and the ending retail home customer count declined 3%, reflecting customer mix changes, attrition, and weather. Vivint Smart Home’s average customer count increased 8% to 2.434 million and its ending customer count increased 8% to 2.521 million, supporting higher sales volume.
