Total operating expenses were $7,621 million in Q1 FY2027, up $2,591 million (52%) year-over-year and up 12% sequentially. Research and development expense rose to $6,321 million, an increase driven by a 112% rise in compute and infrastructure costs, a 31% increase in compensation and benefits, and a 204% increase in engineering development materials for new product introductions.
