NVIDIA identified land, power, shell, energy, and capital availability as critical constraints on customers’ and partners’ ability to build data centers. In August 2026, NVIDIA guaranteed up to $105 billion of credit support for SB Energy’s PORTS Technology Campus in Pike County, Ohio, covering approximately 4.25 gigawatts of IT load and nine data centers. The campus is intended to host NVIDIA compute under 20-year leases to OpenAI, with deployment expected to begin in fiscal year 2029; NVIDIA’s exposure declines as OpenAI makes lease payments. NVIDIA also has an option to provide support for approximately 3.8 additional gigawatts and expects its infrastructure guarantees to depend on customer and partner performance.
