OGE ENERGY CORP. · 2026-04-29 · Importance 71 · Surprise 60

OG&E provided a mid-2023 estimate that compliance with the EPA’s Good Neighbor FIP could cost approximately $2.4 billion to $2.8 billion in total. OG&E further estimated $100 million to $300 million of expenditures could be required over the first 12 to 18 months after the FIP’s effectiveness. OG&E plans to seek regulatory recovery of necessary environmental expenditures but noted it cannot guarantee approval or timely recovery. The company continues to evaluate control strategies including allowances, SCR installation, fuel switching, or unit retirements/replacements.
