PSE&G is implementing New Jersey energy-efficiency, electric-vehicle infrastructure, energy-storage, smart-meter and other clean-energy programs aligned with the state’s Energy Master Plan and gubernatorial executive orders. The company reported that system-wide methane emissions declined by more than 34% from 2018 through 2025, with gas-main modernization intended to further reduce leaks. PSEG also states that its nuclear units provide more than 80% of New Jersey’s carbon-free energy and expects the federal production tax credit to support existing nuclear generation through 2032.
