Pfizer announced approximately $1.0 billion of additional anticipated net savings from its ongoing Realigning Our Cost Base Program, expected to be realized from 2027 through 2029 through technology and simplification efforts across commercial, R&D and enabling functions. One-time costs to achieve these savings are expected to total approximately $2.0 billion through 2029, primarily for digital enablement, implementation and severance. Including prior savings, Pfizer expects approximately $6.7 billion of cumulative net savings from the program through 2029. Separately, the next phase of its Manufacturing Optimization Program is expected to generate approximately $1.5 billion of additional savings through 2029, with approximately $4.0 billion of one-time costs, including 60% non-cash expenditures and 40% cash expenditures.
