Pfizer announced a new phase of its Manufacturing Optimization Program focused on network structure changes, product portfolio enhancements and operational efficiencies. The phase is expected to provide approximately $1.5 billion of additional savings through 2029, with some savings beginning in 2027, while approximately $4.0 billion of one-time costs are expected through 2029 and roughly 60% of those costs will be non-cash. Including the first phase, Pfizer now expects approximately $3.0 billion of total manufacturing-related net savings through 2029.
