Companywide policies in force increased 6%, or 2.4 million policies, year over year to September 30, 2026, including 0.4 million added during the third quarter. Personal auto policies in force grew 7%, while total Personal Lines policies in force increased from 36.880 million to 39.237 million. Commercial Lines policies in force grew 5%. Growth was more moderate than a year earlier despite continued competition.
