PCA completed the acquisition of Greif, Inc.’s containerboard business on September 2, 2025, for $1.8 billion in cash. The acquired business added two containerboard mills with approximately 800,000 tons of annual production capacity and eight sheet-feeder and corrugated plants across the United States. In the second quarter of 2026, the acquisition contributed $258 million of Packaging revenue and $36 million of operating income excluding special items. PCA also completed additional Packaging acquisitions for $21 million, including working-capital adjustments, during the first six months of 2026 and incurred $6.7 million of acquisition and integration costs.
