Reported containerboard prices increased by a net $20 per ton in the first quarter, $30 per ton in April, and $50 per ton in June 2026 for both linerboard and corrugating medium. PCA notified corrugated-products customers of two price increases during the first half of the year, with most of the first increase expected to be realized in the third quarter and the second increase split between the third and fourth quarters. Domestic containerboard prices were 3.2% higher year over year in the second quarter, while export prices were 1.8% higher, although Packaging price and mix initially remained unfavorable. UFS office-paper prices rose 7.2% year over year in the second quarter, with additional index increases for cut-size office and offset printing papers.
