Commercial Lending Demand
PNC FINANCIAL SERVICES GROUP, INC. · 2026-08-05 · Importance 42 · Surprise 40
Corporate & Institutional Banking average loans increased $24.4 billion year over year to $229.8 billion for the first six months of 2026. Corporate Banking loan growth reflected new production and higher utilization of loan commitments for mid-sized and large corporations, government entities, and not-for-profit organizations. Business Credit and Equipment Finance also grew through new production and higher utilization, while Real Estate and Commercial Banking declined primarily because of lower commitment utilization. Treasury management revenue increased with higher average deposit balances and product revenue, and capital markets and advisory fees rose broadly across products including loan syndication, securities underwriting, asset-backed financing, and equity capital markets.
