Interest Rate Outlook

INSULET CORP · 2026-08-05 · Importance 57 · Surprise 64 · In source text

Interest expense was $28.2 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026, with higher expense from the 6.5% senior unsecured notes issued in March 2025 and interest-rate swaps renewed at higher rates in April 2025. Interest income declined $11.8 million to $8.5 million because of lower average cash balances and, to a lesser extent, lower average interest rates. Insulet expects full-year 2026 net interest expense to increase to approximately $40 million, primarily because of lower interest income.
