Phillips 66 returned $887 million to shareholders in the second quarter, compared with $778 million in the first quarter. Common-stock repurchases totaled $379 million, up from $269 million sequentially. Common-stock dividends paid were $508 million, broadly consistent with $509 million in the first quarter.
