Regions is directing incremental investments to eight priority markets: Tampa, Orlando, Miami/South Florida, Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth, Nashville, Atlanta and Huntsville. Deposit-weighted population growth in the company's footprint is projected at 3.5% from 2026 through 2031, compared with 2.6% nationally, and 20 of its top 30 metropolitan statistical areas are projected to grow faster than the U.S. average. Regions reports $14.6 billion of deposit growth in priority markets since 2019 and a $1.6 trillion total deposit opportunity, including an estimated $40 billion opportunity for Regions. Seven of the eight priority markets have gained deposit share since 2019.
