Republic Services reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $4.43 billion, up 4.6% year over year and above the $4.36 billion FactSet estimate. Net income increased to $566 million from $550 million in the comparable 2025 quarter, while adjusted EPS rose to $1.85 from $1.77. Management attributed performance to strong pricing, strategic acquisitions, improved fuel recovery and higher recycling commodity revenues, partly offset by softer residential and construction-related volumes. Environmental Solutions and Recycling & Waste both exceeded analyst expectations for adjusted EBITDA, while polymer-center volumes continued to expand.
