Commercial paper borrowings declined to $420 million at June 30, 2026 from $1.0 billion at December 31, 2025. The weighted-average interest rate on outstanding commercial paper was 3.974% at June 30, 2026, compared with 4.044% at year-end 2025. On August 6, 2026, Republic Services amended the program to increase its maximum outstanding amount from $1.5 billion to $2.0 billion.
