Group 1 covers recycling and waste operations primarily in the western United States, while Group 2 covers the southeastern and mid-western United States, the eastern seaboard and Canada. Group 1 net revenue rose 7.7% year to date, supported by higher yield across all lines, higher solid-waste landfill volumes and stronger small-container activity. Group 2 net revenue increased 1.8% year to date, with higher yield and special-waste landfill volumes offset by lower collection volumes and reduced construction-and-demolition landfill activity. Group 3 operates across the United States and Canada and experienced lower revenue because event-based volumes declined.
