AMRAAM Production Expansion

Raytheon, an RTX business, received a multiyear Pentagon contract valued at up to $20.7 billion to increase production of Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAMs). The five-year agreement includes two optional years and targets nearly doubling output, with annual production expected to reach at least 1,900 missiles. Demand comes from the U.S. military and allied customers in 16 countries through Foreign Military Sales, while AMRAAMs also support the NASAMS air-defense system. The contract is intended to replenish stockpiles affected by conflicts and aid to allies, although full funding remains subject to congressional approval.
