Six-month income tax provision increased $10.0 million to $87.1 million, representing a 73.4% constant-currency increase from the prior-year period. On a constant-currency basis, the provision increased $32.1 million, primarily because of higher withholding taxes. The increase was partially offset by a lower tax effect from income before income taxes. In the second quarter, the provision increased $0.9 million, or 60.1% on the reported percentage measure, to $36.0 million.
