Operating Expense Trends

SBA COMMUNICATIONS CORP · 2026-08-06 · Importance 36 · Surprise 14 · From source text

Six-month selling, general, and administrative expense increased $10.9 million to $148.1 million, representing a 6.5% year-over-year increase and an $8.9 million constant-currency increase. The increase was primarily driven by higher non-cash compensation and personnel and support costs associated with increased presence in certain markets and entry into Honduras. Other SG&A increased $7.3 million, or 24.2%, while site development SG&A increased 11.5% to $7.0 million. Lower costs from market divestitures since January 1, 2025 and lower bad debt expense partially offset the increases.
