Raymond James hired Elyn Davis, a senior Charles Schwab RIA custody executive with nearly three decades of experience at Schwab. Davis worked particularly with small registered investment advisers and family offices and will lead client experience at Raymond James. The move comes as LPL Financial and Cetera increase competition in the hybrid-RIA market and seek to strengthen independent broker-dealer offerings. Davis is expected to help Raymond James expand its RIA custody capabilities and bridge traditional broker-dealer and independent-RIA operating models.
