Norway Stimulation Services Agreement

SLB and Equinor signed a multi-year agreement for advanced reservoir stimulation services on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The arrangement supports future tight-reservoir developments and is intended to maximize recovery from offshore wells. SLB will upgrade the MV Island Captain into a fully proppant-capable stimulation vessel with expanded storage, advanced handling systems, and increased pumping capacity. The vessel will be able to carry up to two million pounds of proppant, providing dedicated stimulation capacity for complex offshore treatments in Norway.
