The U.S. Supreme Court ruled on February 20, 2026 that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act did not authorize presidential tariffs, and tariffs imposed under that statute are expected to be fully refunded. The United States subsequently implemented tariffs under Sections 122, 301, 338 and 232, which Solventum continues to monitor. In June 2026, the Company submitted U.S. Customs and Border Protection refund requests accepted for approximately $120 million, including interest, and recognized a corresponding receivable as of June 30, 2026. Tariffs and inflation continued to increase product costs, partially offsetting tariff-refund benefits and cost savings in MedSurg and Dental Solutions.
