S&P Global agreed on July 28, 2026 to acquire datacenterHawk, a provider of intelligence covering global data center, fiber optic and related infrastructure markets. The transaction would combine 451 Research’s data center forecasting and technology intelligence with datacenterHawk’s asset-level intelligence on supply, demand, pricing, pipelines and site selection, as well as its Fiber Locator platform. The company expects the acquisition to close in the second half of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions, and does not expect a material consolidated financial statement impact.
