STERIS plc · 2026-08-05 · Importance 85 · Surprise 76 · From source text
Fiscal 2027 capital expenditures are now expected to be approximately $450 million, up from the prior estimate of $375 million. The $75 million increase reflects the investment to build the formulated chemistries manufacturing Center of Excellence in North Carolina. First-quarter purchases of property, plant, equipment, and intangibles were $87.5 million, compared with $93.6 million in the prior-year quarter. Full-year free cash flow guidance was reduced to approximately $800 million from $850 million as higher capital expenditures are expected to partly offset stronger first-quarter cash flow.
