Theresa E. Wagler will become Steel Dynamics’ President and Chief Executive Officer effective January 1, 2027, when Mark D. Millett retires as CEO and becomes Executive Chairman. Wagler has served as Executive Vice President and CFO since 2007 and will join the company’s board effective immediately. Richard A. Poinsatte, currently Executive Vice President and Treasurer, will become Executive Vice President and CFO on January 1, 2027. Effective September 1, 2026, Steel Dynamics will add a Chief Technology Officer role and realign executive oversight across aluminum flat rolled products, metals recycling, construction products, steel fabrication, and flat rolled steel operations.
