Texas Pacific Land is developing a patented, energy-efficient desalination and treatment process to recycle Permian Basin produced water into fresh water suitable for surface discharge and beneficial reuse. The Permian Basin generates more than 20 million barrels of produced water daily, creating a potential alternative to subsurface injection. The initial facility has capacity of 10,000 barrels per day, construction is complete, and commissioning had commenced by June 30, 2026. Cumulative spending reached $55.8 million, including $10.2 million during the first six months of 2026, with $48.1 million capitalized; the Company also invested $18.2 million to enhance water sourcing assets during the period.
