Tesla reportedly plans to unveil a redesigned next-generation Roadster as early as August 2026, nearly a decade after the vehicle was first revealed. The event may include a limited-edition Roadster equipped with cold-gas thrusters developed with SpaceX at the company’s test site in McGregor, Texas. The thruster-equipped version is expected to be non-street-legal and positioned as a multimillion-dollar carbon-fiber hypercar rather than a conventional production EV.
