EV Unit Sales and Revenue
Tesla, Inc. · 2026-04-23 · Importance 54 · Surprise 40
In 2026 we produced approximately 408 thousand consumer vehicles and delivered approximately 358 thousand consumer vehicles through the first quarter. Automotive sales revenue for the three months ended March 31, 2026 was $15,473 million, an increase of $2,548 million versus $12,925 million in the prior-year quarter, driven by ~10% higher cash deliveries and a higher average selling price per unit. The company attributes the deliveries increase in part to having brought down all vehicle factories simultaneously for the New Model Y changeover in the prior period and to a positive FX impact from a weakening US dollar versus foreign currencies year over year. Services and other (used vehicle sales, paid Supercharging and insurance) also increased and contributed to overall automotive & services revenue growth in the quarter.
