GE Appliances will integrate Texas Instruments microcontrollers, Wi-Fi connectivity solutions and analog components into its next generation of connected appliances. TI semiconductors will represent approximately one-third of the chips used in products manufactured at GE Appliances’ new $490 million laundry plant in Louisville, Kentucky. Production is scheduled to begin in spring 2027, supporting GE Appliances’ broader $3 billion U.S. manufacturing investment and domestic supply-chain strategy.
