Second-quarter 2026 net revenues increased 8.3% year over year to $4.638 billion from $4.284 billion, including a $322 million, or 7.8%, increase from Same Facility acute care and behavioral health services. Six-month net revenues increased 8.9% to $9.133 billion from $8.384 billion, including a $635 million, or 7.8%, Same Facility increase. Provider tax assessments contributed $47 million of the second-quarter increase and $95 million of the six-month increase, with offsetting operating expenses and no pretax income effect. Acute care revenue increased 8.6% to $2.610 billion in the second quarter and 9.6% to $5.220 billion for six months, while Same Facility acute care revenue increased 8.2% in both periods.
