Cash provided by operating activities increased $7.320 billion year over year to $19.964 billion for the six months ended June 30, 2026. The improvement was driven by increased earnings, favorable timing of government payments, working-capital dynamics and Inflation Reduction Act changes affecting pharmacy rebates. Cash received from dispositions and other strategic transactions was $1.091 billion, while cash paid for acquisitions and other transactions was $98 million. Purchases of property, equipment and capitalized software declined $222 million to $1.562 billion.
