Verizon signed a multiyear, multi-billion-dollar agreement with Corning covering more than 80 million miles of high-density optical fiber and connectivity solutions from 2027 through 2032. The supply will support Verizon’s broadband expansion targeting 40–50 million passings and its national long-haul network buildout for AI infrastructure. Corning’s Contour Flow Cable is designed to increase network capacity within existing conduits, while Corning plans to expand U.S. manufacturing to meet demand.
