Consumer wireless retail connections increased 0.6% year over year to 146.953 million, while postpaid phone connections rose 1.0% to 94.098 million. Core prepaid connections grew 1.8% to 19.351 million, supported by prepaid customer-base growth and higher prepaid revenue. Postpaid phone churn improved to 0.92% from 0.97%, while core prepaid churn was broadly stable at 3.59%. Postpaid ARPA declined 1.4% in the quarter and 1.6% year to date, partly reflecting the effect of promotions and acquisition-related discounts, despite greater adoption of perks and premium plans.
