Revenue Performance and Mix

Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc. · 2026-08-06 · Importance 54 · Surprise 40

Warner Bros. Discovery’s second-quarter 2026 revenue fell 11% year over year to approximately $8.7 billion, below analysts’ $9.2 billion expectation. The decline reflected the absence of NBA games, which weakened advertising sales, and weaker box-office performance, including the underperformance of “Supergirl.” Streaming revenue increased 10% year over year and exceeded $3 billion for the first time, supported by HBO Max subscriber growth, engagement and advertising monetization. Television and studio revenue declined, offsetting the streaming segment’s growth.
