WD completed the separation of its Flash business into Sandisk Corporation on February 21, 2025, and no longer consolidates Sandisk after that date. WD retained an interest in Sandisk and recorded a $6,498 million fiscal 2026 gain from mark-to-market adjustments on that retained interest. Fiscal 2026 cash flow also included $907 million of costs related to debt and equity transactions used to monetize the retained Sandisk interest and reduce debt.
