WEC expects total regulated utility capital expenditures of approximately $33.4 billion from 2026 through 2030 and forecasts its share of ATC capital expenditures at approximately $4.1 billion over the same five-year period. The company plans to invest approximately $6.1 billion in efficient natural gas-fired generation and related infrastructure, including 3,300 MW of combustion turbines and 180 MW of reciprocating internal combustion engine generation. WEC also expects approximately $12.6 billion of regulated renewable energy investment in Wisconsin, including 3,850 MW of utility-scale solar, 2,130 MW of battery storage, and 555 MW of wind. Reliability projects include approximately $7.1 billion for natural gas distribution and $4.7 billion for electric distribution from 2026 through 2030.
