Net cash provided by operating activities increased $194.8 million to $2,210.7 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026, from $2,015.9 million in 2025. Higher customer collections contributed $253.3 million of additional cash following Wisconsin rate orders effective January 1, 2026. Lower operating and maintenance payments added $66.0 million, partly offset by $39.1 million of higher property and revenue tax payments, $38.4 million of lower income-tax receipts, and $34.9 million of additional collateral payments. Net cash used in investing activities increased $227.7 million to $2,200.5 million, primarily because capital-expenditure cash payments increased $549.4 million.
